MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Susannah Cole
Susannah Cole is the visionary director of the award-winning North Star Theatre program at North Forney High School. A proud graduate of UT Austin’s Theatre and Dance program, Susannah has spent the past eight years building one of the top high school theatre departments in Texas. Her students have earned six district titles in UIL One Act Play, advanced to the state’s top 12 three times, and ranked top 6 in Texas in 2025. She’s a recipient of Broadway Dallas awards for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Set Design, Outstanding Educator, and was named North Forney Teacher of the Year in 2024. Known for her leadership, creativity, and high standards, Susannah is a mentor who shapes not only great performers—but exceptional young people.
Josh Cole
Josh Cole is an actor and voice artist with professional credits in Lawmen: Bass Reeves and 1923. He also joined Mrs. Cole this year creating a dynamic theatre directing team. He holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin and brings both classical training and real-world film and TV experience to the classroom. Josh has starred in network television and Lifetime movies and voiced characters in top video games like Hard West 2. Currently a coach and educator within Forney ISD, he is passionate about helping young actors build strong foundations and take creative risks. With a warm, insightful approach and industry-savvy insights, Josh empowers students to sharpen their technique and step into their potential.
