đź’› Student Support & Accessibility

At Talent Factory, we believe every student deserves a space to grow, express themselves, and feel successful. We are committed to creating an inclusive, emotionally safe environment that honors individual needs while maintaining a positive experience for all.

While we are not a therapeutic or adaptive program, we strive to accommodate students to the best of our ability—as long as it aligns with the safety, rhythm, and learning experience of the group.

👶 A Note About Toddlers

These expectations do not apply to our toddler programs in the same way. We fully expect tears, hesitation, and a little wandering! We welcome toddlers with patience and care and believe most little ones adjust with 2–3 consistent weeks of attendance.

We just ask that parents be equally patient and committed—your calm energy makes a big difference in your child’s success.

👥 What We Can Support

  • Students who may need extra encouragement or redirection

  • Students who benefit from visual or verbal cues, prompts, or routines

  • Families who communicate support strategies before class begins

We ask that parents share any relevant behavioral, learning, or social-emotional needs ahead of time so we can be prepared.

Please don’t leave us to figure it out on our own. The more we know, the better we can support your child from day one.

🎯 Participation & Behavior Expectations

We work hard to maintain a safe and encouraging environment for all students. To do that, we ask that students:

  • Can follow basic class instructions

  • Can participate with minimal redirection

  • Can respect others and the studio space

We do not tolerate:

  • Cussing, threatening language, or violence

  • Excessive or unsafe touching of staff or students

  • Destructive behavior or intentional damage to studio property

If disruptive behavior persists, we will connect with families to find the best path forward, which may include pausing participation or suggesting alternative environments.

đźš» Toileting & Bathroom Independence

  • Students must be semi-independent in the bathroom or have a plan to be nearby during class.

  • Parents of younger children may stay on-site in case assistance is needed

  • While we understand occasional accidents happen, we cannot change diapers

  • Students must be able to communicate basic needs (e.g., “I need to go potty”)

🦽 Physical Accessibility

Talent Factory is located inside Opportunity Central (OC), which is fully accessible with wide doors, elevators, ramps, and open walkways. We are happy to accommodate wheelchair users and others with mobility-related needs.

If you or your student need a specific accommodation to access our space, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to assist.

đź’¬ Final Thoughts

We genuinely want every child to feel successful in our studio—but we also want to set up our students, families, and staff for success. If you’re considering a class for your child, we ask:

✔️ Are they interested and ready to participate?
✔️ Are you willing to partner with us and communicate their needs?
✔️ Will your presence or check-ins help ease their transition?

When the desire is mutual and the fit is right, we believe amazing things can happen.
